Supporters of Premier League table-toppers Arsenal have flooded to social media on Thursday evening, to make their concern with the performance level of one player clear.
Mikel Arteta’s troops are of course currently locked in action.
After reestablishing their five-point advantage at the summit of England’s top-flight courtesy of a remarkable comeback downing of Bournemouth at the weekend, the Gunners have turned their attentions towards matters on the continent, in a Europa League Last-16 showdown with Portuguese giants Sporting CP.
To this point in proceedings in Lisbon, though, things have not gone exactly according to plan for Arsenal.
Though they opened the scoring midway through the first-half courtesy of William Saliba, the Gunners are now lucky to even be on level terms, at two goals apiece.
Arsenal get themselves back in it! ✨
A wicked deflection but the Gunners will take that ✅#UEL pic.twitter.com/oso6Fdh6D1

In turn, it should not come as a massive surprise to hear of many of an Arsenal persuasion taking to social media, to make their concerns clear.
None, though, has been more widely condemned than Jakub Kiwior, afforded his debut at the heart of the visitors’ backline at the Estadio Jose Alvalade:
Kiwior has been pretty awful

Get Gabriel on man. Kiwior ain’t ready

Kiwior looks like a CB who doesn’t like to defend.

Kiwior is not ready for first team action.

We have to be honest here both goals could have been prevented by Kiwior. Tough debut, tough place to go. But its Arsenal, he has to be able to handle pressure when needed. Lets get behind him and support our boys! Come on Arsenal! #AFC #COYG

Far from convinced by Kiwior. He doesn’t seem ready.

Kiwior plays like a young Squilacci

Kiwior is having a mare debut. I hope he comes back from this. But the performance tonight has been awfully bad.
