The Tottenham Hotspur faithful have flooded to social media late on Thursday evening, to single one member of the club’s first-team setup out for yet more criticism.
Antonio Conte’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.
After slipping to a concerning defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the latest edition of the North London Derby last weekend, Spurs made the daunting trip to the Etihad, eyeing a bounce-back result up against Premier League champions Manchester City.
And, with 45 minutes on the clock, this, shockingly, is precisely what the Lilywhites appeared to be headed towards.
This came as a quickfire brace on the part of Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal guided Conte and co. in at the break in possession of a two-goal advantage.

And yet, as things stand in Manchester, it is hosts City who are now in position to emerge from proceedings with all three points.
And, safe to say, the Spurs faithful have long made up their minds regarding the key culprit to blame.
The man in question? Hugo Lloris.
After being slammed for a bizarre mistake in last weekend’s North London Derby, the Frenchman failed to cover himself in glory for either of Man City’s first or third goals this evening, either.
