An in-form Millwall outfit are set to act as hosts on Saturday, October 22nd, when they welcome struggling West Bromwich Albion to The Den for a Championship clash.
Let’s first, in turn, take a look at the recent efforts of the former.
After an altogether hit and miss opening to the season, Millwall, over the course of the last couple of weeks, have established themselves as one of the English 2nd tier’s standout clubs.
After being put to the sword by promotion-chasing Blackburn Rovers in their post-international break return to action, Gary Rowett’s troops have since bounced back courtesy of a haul of ten points from an available twelve.
After welcoming a Watford outfit brimming with confidence on the back of a win over Norwich City to The Den, Millwall made short work of the Hornets, courtesy of a Tom Bradshaw hat-trick.
On the back of a scoreless first eight appearances of the term, Bradshaw, in turn, has found the net four times in his last two.

Now flying high in 8th in the table, Saturday’s hosts will therefore no doubt be confident in their chances of making it four wins on the trot up against a West Brom outfit in altogether less impressive form.
The Baggies have of course spent the season to date in the thick of the battle against the drop to League One.
Such woes culminated in the dismissal of Steve Bruce on October 10th, with caretaker replacement Richard Beale, to his credit, having subsequently overseen a swift return to winning ways, courtesy of a 2-0 downing of Reading at the Madejski.
West Brom’s resurgence, however, proved short-lived, to say the very least.
In their return to action this past Tuesday, the Midlands-based outfit were put to the sword by two goals to nil in a home meeting with Bristol City.
Beale’s troops, in turn, have slipped back into the Championship’s bottom three.
It is therefore safe to say that all signs point towards a victory for hosts Millwall come the conclusion of events at The Den on Saturday afternoon.
