On-loan Chelsea frontman Joao Felix has, on Thursday, provided an insight into his future with the club.

Portuguese international Felix, of course, opted to take his talents to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.

Fresh off something of a hit-and-miss opening half to the campaign, the 23-year-old, alongside parent club Atletico Madrid, came to the mutual decision to part ways for the remainder of the campaign.

Felix, in turn, has since gone on to notch a solitary appearance for his new club, famously culminating in his dismissal during a Premier League meeting with Fulham on January 12th.

Ahead of returning to the fold this weekend, though, the attacker, once widely regarded as one of world football’s most gifted youngsters, has today spoken out over his stint in west London to date.

During an interview with Spanish outlet Diario AS, Felix was drawn on a whole host of noteworthy topics, first confirming that, nightmare debut aside, he is thoroughly enjoying his experience in England’s capital.

Admitting that it is currently ‘impossible’ to know whether or not his Chelsea adventure will extend beyond the summer, Felix explained:

‘They don’t have a purchase option, so they’d have to reach an agreement with Atlético. I’ve only been here for a few weeks or so, a month. I’m still getting to know my new surroundings. I really like it here, but it’s impossible to say what’ll happen in the future.’

‘I don’t know what the future holds for me. I don’t know what ‘Cholo’ is going to do, either. As I say, we’ll have to wait until June.’
