A fresh insight into the future of Everton head coach Frank Lampard has been forthcoming late on Sunday evening.
The subject of ex-Chelsea standout Lampard’s position on the bench at Goodison Park, of course, has come back to the fore in a major way over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes after Everton were condemned to yet another alarming defeat.
Owing to a double on the part of Jarrod Bowen, the Toffees were downed by two goals to nil at West Ham, marking an eighth loss in nine across all competitions.

Now sitting clear of bottom spot in the Premier League owing only to goal difference, it therefore came as little surprise to see calls for the aforementioned Lampard to be sent on his way reach an all-time high on Saturday evening.
And, as alluded to above, an update on the situation, late on Sunday, has now been provided.
And, at the forefront of discussions was the future of boss Lampard.
A definitive answer on whether or not the Toffees intend to back their under-fire head coach moving forward, in turn, is expected to be made public within the coming 24 hours.
