Gareth Southgate has named his England squad for the upcoming friendlies against Switzerland and the Ivory Coast at the end of March, and the England boss has sprung a few surprises.
Marcus Rashford has joined Manchester United teammate Jadon Sancho in being overlooked, while Harry Maguire keeps his place despite a series of poor performances for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Ben White joins his teammates Bukayo Saka, Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka in the 23 man squad.

However, AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori and Brentford forward Ivan Toney have both been overlooked.
Tomori has been incredibly impressive during his time in Italy, making 22 Serie A appearances this season in a side that currently sits atop the table in Italy.

Meanwhile, White has been a key part of a mean Arsenal defence which has conceded just 31 goals in the top flight this season, with 10 of those coming before White made his Gunners debut.
Smith Rowe, despite his lack of game time, has also been called up, while Jadon Sancho will consider himself unfortunate not to have made it back into the Three Lions camp following an upturn in form in recent weeks.
So too can Jacob Ramsay, who has been impressive for Aston Villa in his breakout season for the Villians. However, the form of fellow youth stars Conor Gallagher and Jude Bellingham has surely hampered his chances.
