Large sections of the fanbase at Premier League outfit Everton have flooded to social media on Saturday evening, to make their feelings with boss Frank Lampard clear.
The Toffees, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
Fresh off a solitary victory from their last five, Lampard and co. welcomed relegation-battling Leicester City to Goodison Park, eyeing a return to winning ways.
When all was said and done, however, such efforts fell flat, in frankly alarming fashion.
This came as goals on the part of Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes guided Leicester to the right side of an eventual 2-0 final scoreline.

Everton, as a result, have slipped back down to 15th in the English top-flight, just two points clear of the bottom three.
Owing not only to their side’s defeat, but to a larger extent latest performance as a whole, many have gone as far as to call for boss Frank Lampard to be sent on his way with immediate effect, late on Saturday night.

We’ve only scored in one of our last FIVE games. We’ve only won 1 in 6. Lampard can talk about how much he loves the club as much as he wants.
Everton need to sack him immediately. We are regressing under him.
