Goodison Park has been Arsenal’s kryptonite in recent years, so can the Gunners claim their first victory there since 2017?
The Gunners are winless in five visits to Everton, defeated in four of them, having now lost three on the spin at Goodison for the first time since 1978, last losing four in a row there in 1913.
So, could this be just the fixture the home side need as they go in search of their first three points of the season?

Abdoulaye Doucouré and Arnaut Danjuma on target at Bramall Lane, although they only left with a point courtesy of a stunning, stoppage time save from Jordan Pickford, atoning for his earlier unfortunate own goal.
So, could this be just the game the Evertonians need to kick-start their campaign.
In contrast, Arsenal have ten points on the board, following their dramatic victory over Manchester United a fortnight ago.
After the visitors had an 87th minute goal of their own disallowed, Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus were both on target in stoppage time, snatching the three points and sparking wild celebrations at the Emirates.
Most would agree that Mikel Arteta’s team have not been at their brilliant best so far but, with the Champions League getting underway this week, before a North London derby next Sunday, this needs to change and now.
Will Arsenal avoid slipping up on the Goodison Park banana skin yet again, or can Everton leap out of the relegation zone by claiming a memorable victory?

Séamus Coleman, Dele, Jack Harrison and, most crucially, Dominic Calvert-Lewin are all sidelined.
So, Beto will lead the line, having scored on debut at Doncaster in the Carabao Cup, while fellow new-recruit Youssef Chermiti is another centre-forward option.
Fit again Dwight McNeil could return out-wide, with Alex Iwobi having been sold to Fulham out of the blue.
Ashley Young and Jarrad Branthwaite will keep their place at the back, chosen over Vitaliy Mykolenko and Michael Keane respectively.
James Tarkowski scored the winner in this fixture back in February, while the midfield trio of Idrissa Gana Gueye, Abdoulaye Doucouré and Amadou Onana bossed that game.

Gabriel made his first start of the season against Manchester United, much to the relief of all Arsenal supporters far and wide.
In midfield, with Thomas Partey out for ‘a few weeks’ Kai Havertz could keep his place, despite the fact Fábio Vieira has been exceptional off the bench in both of their last two games.
In attack, Gabriel Jesus came off the bench and scored two weeks ago, so could he come in to lead the line at Eddie Nketiah’s expense.
