Liverpool fans have been discussing Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian’s latest poor showing for the Reds.
Jurgen Klopp’s side took on Benfica in the first of two Champions League quarter-final matches on Tuesday evening.
At present, Liverpool are leading 2-1. Goals from Ibrahima Konate and Sadio Mane put the Merseysiders 2-0 up before the former of that duo gifted Benfica a goal early in the second half.
Oh WOW! 🤩
Look at that vision from Trent Alexander-Arnold 🎯

Liverpool fans agree on Salah
And whilst Konate has been grabbing many of the headlines due to his contributions at both ends of the pitch, Salah has also garnered some unwanted attention.
The winger was hooked after 61 minutes by Jurgen Klopp, perhaps with the game against Manchester City at the weekend in mind.
Regardless of why he was taken off, though, it is fair to say Salah was far, far from his best in Portugal.
AFCON broke Salah

it’s quite incredible how AFCON completely changed Salah’s season. He was definitely a strong contender for best player itw before it and now he suddenly lacks that confidence and cutting edge. 90% of football is psychology.
