Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi has sparked concern in the French capital on Thursday.
For those not aware, seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi has taken his place front and centre in the headlines at PSG across the day to date.
This, first, came after it was widely reported that the club’s supporters have organised a protest against the club’s veteran attacker, who has been singled out for blame on the back of their Champions League exit at the hands of German heavyweights Bayern Munich.
PSG fans are planning to whistle at Lionel Messi after their Champions League exit against Bayern 😬
🗣 Leading members of PSG’s ultra group: “We will whistle at Messi this Sunday. He has too high a salary in relation to what he offers on the pitch.”

Such a demonstration was expected to take place at PSG’s next home game, when the capital club are primed to Stade Rennais in a Ligue 1 clash this coming Sunday.
As alluded to above, however, if ensuing reports now mounting on Thursday evening are anything to go by, then such plans may have to be put on hold.
This comes amid widespread claims that Messi played no part in the latest training session overseen by Christophe Galtier earlier today.
