Manchester United’s supporters have flooded to social media on Sunday evening, to send a collective message to the club with regards to the position of David de Gea.
For those who may have missed it, this comes after the Spaniard was responsible for yet another alarming mistake, during the club’s latest outing.
Erik ten Hag’s troops are currently locked in action, after making the trip to the London Stadium for a Premier League showdown with West Ham United.
The Red Devils headed into proceedings desperate for a bounce-back result, after Liverpool closed the gap on the top-four ever further on the back of United’s defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek.
As things stand in England’s capital, however, the evening’s visitors are instead primed to slip to a 2nd defeat on the spin.
This comes with West Ham in possession of a slender one-goal advantage, courtesy of Said Benhrahma.
After seeing a tame effort on the part of Benrahma make its way towards his goal, United’s no.1 looked completely out of sorts, somehow failing in his attempt to push the ball beyond the post:

And, as alluded to above, it has not taken at all long for backlash to ensue.
Taking to social media in their absolute droves, the Manchester United faithful have renewed calls for De Gea to be moved on in the summer, with a new no.1 brought in in his place:
