New Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel wasted little time in etching his name into the club’s history books on Saturday evening.
For those not aware, Tuchel’s stint in the dugout in Bavaria was kicked into gear a short time ago.
After the former Chelsea boss was unveiled as the replacement for the departing Julian Nagelsmann last weekend, Tuchel was tasked with a top-of-the-table showdown with none other than one-time employers Borussia Dortmund in his first game in charge.
And, safe to say, he wasted little time in firmly endearing himself to the Bayern faithful.
En route to a spot back atop the Bundesliga table, the champions put four past their Klassiker rivals, en route to an eventual 4-2 triumph.
Not only that, but, in steaming out to an early three-goal advantage, Tuchel, too, made history.
