Yet another update on the long-standing efforts of Premier League leaders Arsenal to land Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk has been provided late on Friday evening.
Arsenal’s pursuit of wide-man Mudryk, of course, has taken its place back front and centre in the media headlines for some time now.
This comes amid widespread claims that the Ukrainian talent is inching ever closer to a move to the Emirates, on the back of several rounds of prolonged negotiations between the respective boards at Arsenal and Shakhtar.
Late last night, a fresh offer was tabled by the powers that be in north London, totalling a fee in the region of €70 million, plus bonuses.
This is understood to come close to Shakhtar’s long-standing asking price, with a deal, as a result, viewed as being as good as imminent amongst many circles.

And now, as alluded to above, an insight into precisely when those of an Arsenal persuasion could be afforded their first opportunity to see Mudryk line out in the club’s colours has been forthcoming online.
And what a debut fixture it could prove, with the Gunners set to welcome Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are confident of landing Mykhailo Mudryk in a deal that could reach £80 million, and the winger could be in contention to play against Manchester United a week tomorrow https://t.co/DZW6tRH59f
