Tottenham Hotspur star Cristian Romero has taken to social media late on Saturday, to send a message to the club’s fanbase.
Ongoings on the Lilywhite half of north London, of course, have take their place front and centre in the headlines across the evening thus far.
This comes after boss Antonio Conte embarked on the most remarkable of rants, on the back of his side’s latest spectacular on-pitch collapse.
After surging into a two-goal advantage late in a Premier League meeting with Southampton, Spurs were ultimately forced to settle for a share of the spoils, owing to a 3-3 stalemate.
Conte, in turn, tore into all of his players, Joe Lewis and Tottenham as a club, in a tirade which could, ultimately, prove decisive in bringing his tenure in England’s capital to a close:
“Tottenham’s story is this. 20 years there is the owner & they never won something. Why?” 😲

Conte’s jibes, in addition to the club’s defeat, for the most part, have since been met with radio silence on the part of all else associated with Tottenham.
In a post on his official Instagram account, Cristian Romero insisted that Spurs’ stars ‘will not get tired of trying’, before seemingly responding to his manager’s jibes in adamantly declaring that ‘I love the players on my team, I love them and my club’.
